Bob was a history major at ENMU and UNM in 1968-70, where he enrolled after four years in the Air Force, following graduation from high school in Galesburg, Illinois in 1963. Bob never completed his degree, but now that he is a retiree with time on his hands, has begun a new career as an amateur historian.
